The beginnings of MEA date back to 1886 when it was founded as a locksmithery. Today, MEA Group companies serve their customers all over the world through the group’s five divisions. The competitive position of all companies in the MEA Group is based on their technological know-how and competences in the processing of plastic, steel and polymer concrete, the process of hot-dip galvanizing and production in production facilities in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany and France. Upon the foundation of MEA Meisinger s.r.o. in Plzeň in 1994, the group entered the Czech market. A new modern plant with a representative office was built on a greenfield in Plzeň, spreading across more than 110,000 m2. It currently employs up to 400 employees. Plzeň-based MEA Meisinger s.r.o. is part of the MEA METAL APPLICATIONS division. It specialises in professional approach and service of customers in the production and sales of metal grids and transport technology. It is also a reliable and competent partner in the hot-dip galvanizing surface treatment.
